Hey Everyone! I have out of town for a couple weeks, and got back in time to for CTMH to let us know a big surprise and new addition to 'Studio J' that will change everything!! OMG!!! CTMH just posted that they have upgraded Studio J and you can now put photo wells any where you want AND MUCH MORE!!!

2 More of Secret Sister Gifts

Happy Sunday Everyone!

After a GREAT weekend at Crops Plus and a week of family issues, I am finally catching up and am here to post my 3rd and 4th gifts that I gave to my Secret Sisters on the CTMH Cruise!

The first one shown was a fun frame that my Secret Sister's, Lisa Sargant and Tiffany Young) will be able to use to add a picture  as a reminder of the magnificent time they had in the Southern Caribbean with CTMH! I used the (X7168B) Surf's Up Paper, and an exclusive stamp set that CTMH created just for the Cruisers! It is actually a double stamp set that not only includes the 2013 CTMH Southern Caribbean Cruise Logo, but it also includes the names of all the ports we visited and lots of flora and fauna that you might find in the Southern Caribbean! It is so neat!! I have already had some of my customer's ask who they can get the set!

The 2nd gift  shown here was made using CTMH's new My Creations Kraft Container (Z1833) that only costs $3.95... It is REally well made, very sturdy AND you can even gently press the top chipboard circle out of the lid so you can cover it and have it look finished!

I used the Brand New CTMH Paper called Tommy (X7169B) and the Tommy embellishment Assortment (Z1824) that has LOTS of neat coordinated items, including the little flags and the cork circles!!  This was pretty easy to make, but it did require some drying time because I used Liquid Glass to make sure everything was firmly secured since I was traveling with them! Oh, and I filled them with Full size Snickers bars... as a Chocolate treat!

I hope to recreate all of my gifts for myself (and my guest, and dear friend, Mary Whitley) so that you can see that in person at my upcoming crops!

What an Amazing Cruise to Paradise!

Hi Everyone!

I am back from my amazing CTMH Cruise to the Southern Caribbean... It is definitely Paradise!

I have so much to share, however, I got home late Monday night and have a 3 Day crop starting tomorrow... so I have scrambling to get ready for it! So I thought I would post some new Idea Book artwork... These are a couple of the things I gave to my Secret Sister's... I had 2, and have a wonderful time created for them... especially since I got to use CTMH's new products!

The first picture is a File Folder that I decorated with CTMH's new SURF'S UP paper... I also gave them a Travel Journal and pen on the first day!

The 2nd picture is of CTMH's new Clear Acetate Pillow Boxes, that I decorated with CTMH's new GORGEOUS Chantilly Paper and embellishments! I filled the pillow boxes with Dove Chocolate Hearts! I also gave them on the 2nd day with the pillow boxes, a fun yellow beach towel, suncreen and a gossip magazine to read while hanging out in the sun!

I have more to share, but I wanted to put something on my blog before I head out to Crops Plus!!

Heading to Paradise!

Hi Everyone!
I wanted to post a quick note to say 'See ya Later', and to post a picture of my class in February at Crops Plus! (Shhh, don't tell anyone, the picture on the left is actually from Hawaii... but Paradise is Paradise!!)

I will return on February 12th, with just enough time to get ready to be a vendor at Crops Plus on the 15th!

Happy (Almost) New Year Everyone!

WOW! As I get  'more mature' (rather than saying I am OLDER), I am finding that getting ready for, and dealing with, the Holiday Season takes longer, is harder on me and makes me realize that I have to let some of my regular activities slide!

As you can see, my last post was on Halloween... 2 months ago... OMG!! Please forgive me! Here is a some what brief synopsis of what has transpired!

Since my last post, I have been to FL to support and see my brother Charlie Latham, elected to be the Mayor of Jacksonville Beach, FL... this picture was taken as the shock started to wear off that he had won the election by a mere 63 votes!! If this doesn't prove that EVERY vote counts, I don't know what does!

Then I returned home to work at a crop as a vendor; I also taught 3 of my Christmas card classes; I attended a crop as a cropper... That is a gift I give myself every year! It helps me get some of my own projects done... for me! I hosted 25 wonderful ladies at my home for my annual Christmas Tea! We had such a great time, and everyone brought a wrapped handmade gift, and the gifts were swapped, traded and stolen (no more than 2 times)!!! We had such a great time!

And of course, I can't leave out the decorating for Christmas and wrapping gifts... cooking and creating food gifts for my dear friends and neighbors! We have had quite a hectic, busy, crazy and FUN 2 months!

One other thing that has happen this year... our daughter, Kim, and her fiance, Trey, have brought their two families together to create one big, crazy, wacky, loud, loving family! Kim has 4 and Trey has 2... That means Kim is 'Mom' to 6 kids, 4 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 turtles... God bless my daughter!! She is amazing! This is their Christmas picture for 2012!

Just a little heads up... I will be at 2 crops in January... 'Creative Crops' (www.creativecrops.com) at the Clarion Resort in Shepherdstown, WV the weekend of  January 18-20, and 'It's A Diva Crop' (Itsadivacrop.com) at the Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg, MD, the following weekend  - the 25-27 of January! I will have a class at each of the crops, and I will post them here when they are ready!

Then, on the 29th of January, one of my friends and I will be flying to Puerto Rico to begin the next CTMH Cruise that I earned this past year, thanks to you all and your support! WOW... More crazy times ahead!

I also wanted to take this opportunity to 'Thank You' all - one more time... (What??? It was a big deal for me) for your thoughts, prayers, kind and caring words, texts, FB and Caring Bridge posts, emails, cards and Happies during this past year with my health issues... It truly blew me away and made me feel so loved! And for your kind and generous support of my CTMH business! I love CTMH because it has lead me to all of you, and I have found that 'My WHY' for being a CTMH Consultant is that I am all about relationships and creative outlets... with CTMH and you guys, I can enjoy both! Thank you for making my job so amazing!

So, with all that said... I wish you a belated Merry Christmas and a VERY HAPPY 2013 to each and every one of you! Here's to good health, good times and lots of hugs and love!

Finally! They are Done! My Christmas Cards 2012

Happy Halloween, Everyone!

Before I start, I would like to say to those of you who were affected by SuperStorm Sandy, my thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you... We had a taste of it here in Northern VA, but my heart breaks for everyone North of us - Especially those of you in New York, New Jersey and CT! Hugs to you all...

I have to say... "YEAH"!! I finally got my Christmas Cards for 2012 done!! I must say that I am pleased with them, and I hope you like them, as well! These are the cards that I will be teaching this year! Thanks to Pinterest for it's inspiration!! The card that is in front (Happy Holidays) was originally created by Cindy Leek... I did a little changing, but I loved Cindy's card so much I didn't want to change it too much! Thank you, Cindy!

Everyone who takes my Christmas Card class this year will be making 5 of each of these... As an added bonus, the card on the far right is a Christmas Card that is also a Gift Card Holder... I don't know about you, but we give so many gift cards during the Christmas Season... Starbucks to my friends, Best Buy to my Grandson, and so on... you will have a head start!

Everything will be pre-cut, all you have to do is stamp, heat and dry emboss, put the cards together, add some bling and you will have 25 cards ready to use!

I have several dates available...

• Saturday, November 24th from 10am to 1pm AND from 2pm to 5pm   (Pay by Nov. 17th)
• Tuesday, December 4th from 6:30 to 9:30pm    (Pay by Nov. 27th)
• Saturday, December 8th from 10am to 1pm    (Pay by Dec. 1st)

The cost for this Christmas Card Class is only $50. for 25 cards...

More Hawaii Studio J Layouts!

Hi Everyone!
Back again with the remainder of the CTMH Hawaiian Cruise Layouts that I created this past weekend! I had such a great time picking the pictures I thought would go best!

This layout, "Livin' the Good Life", celebrates one of our excursions and it was to an amazing Luau! The food was awesome, the entertainment was spectacular! I loved every minute! What a great memory!

The 2nd Layout is called "Taking time to Chill" and it celebrates our evening in Kona and our dinner at "DUKE'S"... While the food and drinks were pretty yummy... the view was pretty amazing!

This final layout is called "Hawaiian Paradise"! Some of the beautiful and memorable placed we visited and enjoyed on the cruise! A huge 'Thank You" to Jeanette Lynton and Close To My Heart for taking us on a trip of a lifetime! Mom and I had a phenomenal trip, with extra special memories! 

I have some traditional layouts that I have to still create and those will show up some time in the future, but I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by to see my Studio J layouts! I Just Love Studio J!

 Hi Everyone!

CTMH's Constant Campaign, aka CTMH's Monthly Special, involves Studio J (CTMH's Digital Scrapbooking Program)... Purchase 9 Studio J layouts and you will get the 10th one FREE! So, for the past 2 crops that I was able to go to as a cropper (wooohooo!!), I simply brought my laptop and worked on my Studio J... easy, and minimal trips to and from the car!

This past weekend, I decided to work on my CTMH Hawaiian Cruise that I earned this past year. I took my Mom as my guest, and we had such a wonderful time! The first layout shown here is of getting to meet Ingo Rademacher aka 'Jasper Jax' from the ABC Soap 'General Hospital'. My CTMH Upline, Tina Sutton, had met and taken SUP lessons from Ingo in FL - late in 2011, and she mentioned that were going to be in Hawaii in March 2012. Ingo said he was going to be there too and offered to teach us how to 'Stand Up Paddling' (SUP) on YOLO boards!! I was unable to take the lesson because of my knees, so I just went and watched my friends having a blast! Then Ingo's wife, Ehiku, and his son, Peanut, came and brought us lunch.

I have to tell you... the Rademacher family are THE NICEST, most down to earth people I have ever met! He gave us time to ask him questions, and even gave us pictures that he autographed for us! What a pleasure to meet Ingo, and his precious family!

The 2nd layout called 'Cruisin' ' has some of my favorite pictures I took while cruising in Hawaii!
Such great pictures for some wonderful memories!

I have 3 more Studio J layouts from our CTMH Hawaii Cruise, and I will post them in a day or two! I also have a bunch of Studio J layouts that I created of my family's trip to San Antonio the day after Christmas in 2009. We went to the Riverwalk and Sea World! We also FROZE our hiney's off! But we had fun being together as a family! I will also be posting them in the near future!

A GREAT GIFT IDEA!

Hi Everyone!
I know, I keep saying that I am going to get my life on track and keep up with my Blog... Someday... In the mean time, thank you for checking back! I hope to start posting more often...

Today, I am posting a class I have coming up in a couple weeks at Crops Plus (www.ourcropsplus.com) (www.ourcropsplus.blogspot.com is the Vendors Blog) in Sterling, VA...

These make GREAT personalized Holiday Gifts for everyone on your list... You can also chose masculine paper for the Men in your life! This is just a sample using Retired CTMH paper, but I will have a variety of papers for you to chose from!

We all love organizing with fun/pretty things... This is a very useful, pretty and colorful way to do that! We will be creating a 12x12 Dry Erase Board that you can put up in your Kitchen, Office or Craft Room - just to mention a few... and it can be easily recreated to be used as a gift!

The kit includes 1 frame, 1/2 of a CTMH paper pack, embellishments, and use of my stamps and inks... You should have a good bit of paper left to recreate additional boards (you can purchase additional frames later) or to use in making a layout or 2, on your own!

Above is a picture of an example, yours can be made using the same or different paper, and you can also title your board according to what you will be using it for! Example: You won't need Grocery list if this is for your craft room...

As I mentioned above, I will have multiple paper packets to chose from, and those will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis, as class begins!
